Which survey should I chose?
The right survey depends on the type, size, and style of the property.
Our RICS Home Survey Level 3 Survey (formerly known as a Building Survey) is the most detailed and comprehensive option, making it ideal for older properties. It is particularly suited for:
- Older and larger buildings
- Properties that have been altered or redeveloped
- Uniquely designed or constructed buildings
- Listed properties with architectural or historical significance
Alternatively, the RICS Home Survey Level 2 Survey (previously called a HomeBuyer Report) is best for newer properties (within the last 50 years):
- Small properties in good condition
- New-build flats
- Buildings with minimal alterations, especially if no future modifications are planned
Choosing the right survey ensures you receive the most relevant insights for your property.
